~~~~ Welcome to a world of romance and mystery! ~~~~
Thank you so much for visiting! I write Regency romances for BelleBooks/ImaJinn, historical romances
for Montlake (formerly Avalon), and cozy mysteries. My goal is to write uplifting stories that
inspire readers and fill them with hope, letting them do some daydreaming along the way!
I've also written two genealogy books published by Turner Publishing, originally by Ancestry.
As for mystery, my short story "Three of a Kind" won the
2007 Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Awards, Mystery/Crime Category.
NO ROOM AT THE INN in ONE WINTER'S NIGHT
Major Arthur Winstead, Marquess of Edgemere, has promised to do everything he can for the widow and son of his fallen fellow officer and friend. Arthur is dismayed to learn that hard
times have forced the enchanting Rosemary Boughman and her young son to open their
aging home as an inn. When the beautiful but stubborn Rosemary rejects his offer of
marriage, Arthur discovers the wisest thing he can do is help her improve the Jolly Goose
and Rhyme—and quickly, before Christmas travelers descend upon them. . .
~~~ "I really enjoyed this one. Beside being well written and the story line easy to follow, the author drew the reader in and allowed them to experience the many emotions of her characters. The story had intrigue, suspense, conflict, grief, sorrow, reuniting with family, and allowing love to enter." Amazon, 4-star review

LADY DELPHINIA'S DECEPTION
Lady Delphinia Marlowe is dismayed when an accident forces an unexpected guest to recuperate at her home on the Devon coast. Her midnight wanderings on the moors suggest to Captain Nicholas Hainsworth, the Earl of Greymore, that she is involved with smuggling, a crime that conflicts with his duty as a former naval captain. As Delphinia struggles to conceal a secret life forced upon her by her past, her greatest fear is that her unwelcome guest might not only be her soul mate, but an agent of the Crown who will place duty above matters of the heart. ~~~"This well-written traditional Regency. . .has a nice bit of mystery, and its two intelligent leading characters make it a satisfying and entertaining story." Romantic Times, 4-star review |
